VD Recruitment has partnered with a leading Montessori Nursery in West London. We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Level 2 or UQ experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their wonderful team.

Competitive salary between - GBP24k - GBP26k

Full time or Part Time permanent role - 40 Hours/Week OR 4 days working (32 Hours/ week)

Room - Preschool

Location - Brentford TW8 (Excellent transport links + on-site parking)

The Nursery will support and give you the training and mentoring required for you to flourish in this new role. They are looking for someone who is dynamic, is able to use their initiative and effectively time-manage their day to ensure the smooth running of the assigned Room. You will be someone who is mature in outlook, experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of childcare with a natural ability to work as part of a team and always be willing to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities for the Nursery Educator

• Provide high-quality childcare and support to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood education and development.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and daily activities.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance nursery operations and support leadership initiatives.

Essential Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner

• Level 2 or Unqualified with experience
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Motivation and aspiration to grow further in early years
• Willingness to learn and undertake further training
• Good listening and communication skills
• A commitment to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding, equal opportunities
• A friendly and flexible approach at work which facilitates the development of effective relationships

The positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS certificate and references.
