We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our super nursery in Portslade, BN41!  We are seeking an enthusiastic Practitioner to join our team. We offer high quality childcare, in the most incredible setting in the area. The outdoors is very important to us, we want to be able to offer opportunities, rain or shine. We have weekly Forest School sessions, which helps to boost happiness, health and learning through outdoor play and adventure!

Days/Hours:

• 2 Days: Tuesdays & Fridays
• 8am - 5.30pm

*Please note all roles are all year round and we cannot accommodate term time requests

Salary: £12.50ph+ (Depending on experience/qualification)

About the Role
In this role, you will support children’s learning and development, following the EYFS standards to create a warm and stimulating environment. You’ll work closely with children, parents, and carers, contributing to a high standard of care and education through engaging activities and a commitment to outdoor learning. This position would suit a newly qualified practitioner right up to a super qualified senior practitioner looking to continue growing their experience.

Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery.
• Working as part of a passionate staff team and contributing to the running and development of the nursery.
• Ensuring that children's learning and development are celebrated with the child and their families.
• Using your knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage & child development to plan and implement interest-led, engaging learning activities on a daily basis.

About You
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a minimum Level 2+ qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
• Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
• Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
• Be eligible to work in the UK
