Early Years Practitioner Opportunity ✨

About Us

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our fantastic setting in Didcot, Oxfordshire, OX11. Our team are warm, caring and highly motivated. All our staff are encouraged and supported in further training in general childcare and in more specialised areas such as Special Educational Needs and also in practical skills like food hygiene. We are now looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about childcare and providing the best start for all. We strive to make children feel secure and develop their own likes and interests, learning through play!

Salary: (depending on age, qualifications, and experience)

  • A competitive salary of £12.00 - £12.70 per hour

Flexible Days/Hours:

  • 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 Days  
  • 30 hours across 3 days / 7:30am – 6:00pm

*Please note we cannot accommodate school hours or term time

About the Role - Early Years Practitioner
In this role, you will support children’s learning and development, following the EYFS standards to create a warm and stimulating environment. You’ll work closely with children, parents, and carers, contributing to a high standard of care and education through engaging activities and a commitment to outdoor learning.

Early Years Practitioner - Responsibilities

  • To communicate any relevant information required to follow the food and drink policy and health and safety procedures with all members of staff
  • To use the administration process appropriately to enable policies and procedures to be followed accurately
  • To ensure the legal aspects of health and safety are followed in line with company’s policies and procedures
  • To undertake any relevant training, and when required, to train other members of the catering team

About You as our Early Years Practitioner

  • Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
  • Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
  • Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
