We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our fantastic setting in Reading, Berkshire, RG10. Our nursery is rural with a meadow, forest school, and lots of outside space. Our curriculum and ethos are about outdoor play so if you do come to work for us, please know you will be often working outside in our lovely open spaces!

Salary: (depending on age, qualifications, and experience)

• £11.50 - £12.50 per hour

Flexible Days/Hours:

• 4 or 5 Days  

• 34 - 42.5 Hours / Shifts between 7.45pm-6.15pm
• All Year Round / Permanent

About the Role - Early Years Practitioner
In this role, you will support children’s learning and development, following the EYFS standards to create a warm and stimulating environment. You’ll work closely with children, parents, and carers, contributing to a high standard of care and education through engaging activities and a commitment to outdoor learning.

Early Years Practitioner - Responsibilities

• To communicate any relevant information required to follow the food and drink policy and health and safety procedures with all members of staff
• To use the administration process appropriately to enable policies and procedures to be followed accurately
• To ensure the legal aspects of health and safety are followed in line with company’s policies and procedures
• To undertake any relevant training, and when required, to train other members of the catering team

About you as our Early Years Practitioner

• Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
• Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
• Driver preferred due to location
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
• Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
• Be eligible to work in the UK
