VD Recruitment is seeking to appoint a strong Early Years Practitioner for a leading MEAB accredited Montessori Nursery in Surrey.

We are seeking an experienced full time Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking to progress to join their dynamic team at the Ofsted Rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery. You will be exposed to a range of exciting opportunities for training and development. Many staff here are already advancing their careers with NVQ’s and Montessori diplomas. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of EYFS, an understanding of children’s development and hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.

Salary: £21700 - £23500

Location - West Horsley KT24

Your main duties would be :

• To support children’s learning using EYFS Framework and parental aspirations
• Planning, observing and assessing children in your care
• Record keeping
• Assisting with meals/ snack times
• Ensuring health and safety/ safeguarding standards are met
• Interacting with parents and updating them on child's progress
• Supervising staff
• Liaising with external professionals

You will need the following Qualifications, Training And Experience :

• NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education or higher
• A recent First Aid qualification is preferred as we are Millie's Mark Accredited
• A firm understanding of the EYFS framework
• Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
