Exciting Opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manager - Outstanding Montessori Nursery at North West London

Location: Eastcote, HA4
Excellent Salary: GBP36,000 - GBP42,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, with flexible shifts between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with one half-day per week.

Your Role as Deputy Nursery Manager:

As a key part of the Senior Management Team, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of care and education. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the nursery operates efficiently and meets all EYFS and Ofsted standards
• Supporting and leading a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality learning experiences
• Overseeing daily nursery operations in the absence of the Nursery Manager
• Encouraging a collaborative and creative working environment
• Building strong relationships with parents, children, and staff
• Conducting staff performance reviews, appraisals, and peer observations
• Managing healthcare plans, safeguarding procedures, and compliance requirements
• Organizing and leading staff training, events, and mentoring sessions

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a dedicated and proactive leader who is passionate about childcare. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare & Education
• Extensive experience in a Montessori classroom (Montessori qualification from MCI/AMI London is a plus!)
• Proven leadership experience within an early years setting
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• A positive, solution-focused approach and the ability to motivate staff and children
• Good ICT skills
