Position Summary Digital & IT Technical Specialist (PeopleSoft) Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 remote) Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Duration: Permanent Parker's IT function plays a critical role in enabling business performance and innovation, with a strong focus on delivering secure, efficient and scalable solutions across HR and business operations. Responsibilities Responsibilities of the role: • Maintain and support a complex HR technology environment, including a high volume of system integrations across multiple platforms. • Troubleshoot issues, perform code fixes and ensure system reliability and data integrity. • Design, develop and implement PeopleSoft solutions, interfaces and integrations. • Support ongoing system improvements and optimisation initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency. • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions across global teams. • Provide support for IT service requests and contribute to project-based workstreams. Qualifications Skills required: • Strong experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft • Proven technical expertise in: • PeopleTools & PeopleCode • XML, SQL / PL-SQL • Integration Broker • SFTP & REST APIs • JavaScript • Application Designer & Application Engines • Experience developing and maintaining system integrations and interfaces. • Good understanding of IT systems, architecture and lifecycle management. • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
