Join a Leading Catering Operation
We are looking for an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead our busy West Hub catering operation. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a high volume kitchen serving up to 700 lunch covers daily, while also overseeing a growing events and external catering service.

The Role
As Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen team, ensuring the delivery of high quality food across daily catering, hospitality and events. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards, driving efficiency and supporting the continued growth of the catering operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a high performing kitchen team
• Deliver high quality food for daily service, events and external catering
• Create innovative menus that balance quality, creativity and value
• Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships
• Monitor budgets, food costs and waste to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance
• Support service improvements and help grow the events and catering offer
• Foster a positive, collaborative and customer-focused culture
About You
You will be a skilled chef with experience leading teams in a busy, high volume catering environment.
You will have:
• Proven experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen management role
• A background in large scale catering, contract catering, hospitality or similar environments
• Experience delivering events and/or external catering services
• Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills
• Commercial awareness of managing food costs, reducing waste and GP targets.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures
• A relevant culinary qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
• Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 4)
• A full UK/EU driving licence
