Job Title: Waiter / Waitress (Part-Time) Venue: Bank de León Location: Wolverhampton City Centre Reports to: Floor Manager / Duty Manager Role Overview:As a Waiter/Waitress at Bank de León, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience within a vibrant, Caribbean-inspired bar and restaurant setting. You will be responsible for providing attentive, friendly, and efficient table service while maintaining the venue’s premium atmosphere and service standards. Key Responsibilities:Guest Experience & Service: • Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional approach • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently • Serve food and beverages in a timely and presentable manner • Create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for all guests • Build rapport with customers and ensure a positive dining experience Food & Beverage Knowledge: • Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, including Caribbean dishes and drinks • Make recommendations and upsell menu items, specials, and promotions • Communicate clearly with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure order accuracy Operations & Cleanliness: • Set up and clear tables efficiently • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the floor area • Assist with opening and closing duties • Ensure all service areas meet hygiene and presentation standards Teamwork & Communication: • Work closely with bar staff, kitchen staff, and management • Support colleagues during busy periods • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth and timely service Compliance & Standards: • Follow all health & safety and food hygiene regulations • Adhere to licensing laws and responsible service practices • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Skills & Requirements: • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset • Reliable, punctual, and flexible (evenings & weekends required) Desirable: • Previous hospitality or waiting experience • Interest in food, drinks, and Caribbean culture What We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay • Staff training and development • A fun, energetic working environment • Opportunities for progression
