VD Recruitment has partnered with a vibrant, well-established nursery in Brentfordand we're on the lookout for a passionate, energetic, and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dynamic team!

Competitive salary between- GBP28k - GBP30k + Benefits

Location - Brentford TW8

Full time permanent role - 40 Hours/Week

Rooms Available - Preschool Room - Open plan Nursery of capacity 36 children.

The Nursery offers training and mentoring to help you thrive in your new role. They seek a dynamic, proactive individual with strong time management skills to ensure the smooth running of the assigned Room. You should be experienced, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent childcare.

This is a great chance to work closely with the Nursery Director and Manager, playing a key role in maintaining high standards and building the Nursery's reputation. Ideal for someone ambitious and eager to grow with the business as it scales, with plenty of opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities of the Nursery Room Leader -

• Lead and supervise the preschool room, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Develop and implement engaging early childhood education programs that foster learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
• Manage daily activities and schedules, promoting teamwork among staff.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's development and attendance.

Essential Requirements for the Nursery Room Leader

• Level 3 or above early years education/childcare qualification
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• An understanding of play-based approaches to children's learning and development
• Motivation and aspiration to grow further in early years and take on a more senior role
• Willingness to learn and undertake further training
• Good listening and communication skills
• A commitment to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding
• A commitment to equal opportunities
• A commitment to working well with young children and their families
• A friendly and flexible approach at work which facilitates the development of effective relationships

The positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS certificate and references.
