delighted to partner with an esteemed Montessori Nursery in North West London,
renowned for its commitment to excellence in early years education. We are
seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead a talented team,
create a nurturing atmosphere, and uphold the highest standards of care and
education for our young learners.
Excellent Salary Package - £43k - £50k PA + Loads of other Benefits (see below).
Location: Eastcote HA4 (Excellent transport links and parking facility)
Hours – 40 hours / week working with a variety of shifts between 7.30am-6pm offering at least one half day per week
You must have strong knowledge of the EYFS, good communication,
organisational and interpersonal skills. Be highly motivated and have a
positive attitude towards working with children. Our client has achieved an OUTSTANDING award
from Ofsted for their 1st setting.
Your role as a Nursery Manager includes-
·
Becoming
familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and supporting staff to
follow these.
·
Leading a team,
encouraging and raising practice daily.
·
Delegating tasks
to the teams to ensure the smooth running of the rooms.
·
Forming
professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure
relationships with the children.
·
Being a part of
the Senior Management team to contribute to staff performance management and
appraisals.
·
Oversee display
boards and the setting up of a stimulating, warm environment prepared for the
children including the garden in accordance with the 7 areas of learning.
·
Conducting peer
observations and management spot checks. Focusing on the quality of interaction
and the high levels of practice.
·
Creating
children's health care plans.
·
Mentoring and
training Deputy Managers & Room Leaders.
·
Being involved in
parent events.
·
Monitoring all
daily and weekly checks are completed to a high standard.
·
To ensure professionalism
and confidentiality at all times
Person Specification
·
Level 3 in Childcare & Education and an
extensive experience working within a Montessori classroom
·
Montessori qualification from MCI /AMI London will
be a Plus!
·
Previous experience of working as a Nursery Manager
& Deputy Manager is essential.
·
The ability to deliver high-quality practice and be
a role model for your team.
·
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding
procedures.
·
Excellent communication skills.
·
Good ICT
skills
