About Us
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Nursery Deputy Room Leader to join our lovely nursery in Godalming, Surrey GU7. We are currently looking for
a fun, enthusiastic Deputy Room Leader to join our friendly team! Located in Godalming, in a purpose built building, we give a home from home experience for children in our care! We are looking for a Deputy Room Leader for either our Toddler or Preschool room!

Days/Hours: (Please see below)

  • 38 Hours / Shifts between 8am-6pm / Monday - Friday
  • All year round / Permanent

*Please note we cannot accommodate school hours or term time

Deputy Room Leader Salary: Up to £26,676pa / £13.50ph (depending on age, qualifications, and experience)

About the Role
In this role, we are looking for a passionate Deputy Room Leader who is able to inspire others and create exciting and challenging learning opportunities for children. You will be working in either our Preschool or Toddler room.

Deputy Room Leader Responsibilities

  • Providing the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery.
  • Working as part of a passionate staff team and contributing to the running and development of the nursery.
  • Ensuring that children's learning and development are celebrated with the child and their families.
  • Using your knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage & child development to plan and implement interest-led, engaging learning activities on a daily basis.

About You
The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
  • Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS as well as the understanding of child development and of children’s needs.
  • Always willing to pop on your coat and accessories to get outdoors and have fun while the children learn.
  • Confident in completing observations and carrying out planning for your key children
