The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across KS3–KS5, helping students develop their mathematical knowledge, understanding, fluency and problem-solving skills. You will encourage logical thinking and mathematical confidence while planning high-quality lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Mathematics across KS3–KS5.
• Deliver engaging lessons that cater for students of varying abilities.
• Promote mathematical confidence, logical thinking and problem-solving.
• Support students in developing their understanding and applying mathematical concepts.
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching to support individual learning needs.
• Be organised, reliable and committed to achieving positive student outcomes.
