Head of Group Finance
Central London | Hybrid | £110,000 to £120,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We're partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed international business looking for a technically strong Head of Group Accounting to lead financial reporting, governance and control across the Group.
This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CFO. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and leading from the front. Someone who is happy to work with autonomy, get things done and help build a best-in-class finance function.
The Role
You'll lead the Group Accounting function with responsibility for:
• Group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounts across multiple entities.
• Month-end and year-end close.
• Technical accounting, audit and financial governance.
• Treasury, cashflow forecasting and working capital.
• Strengthening controls, processes and systems.
• Leading and developing the Group Accounting team.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and supporting international finance teams.
About You
You'll probably be operating as a Head of Group Accounting, Group Financial Controller or Group Reporting Manager looking for the next step.
We're looking for someone with:
• ACA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting experience, including consolidations, statutory reporting and audit.
• Experience operating across multiple entities, ideally internationally or across Europe.
• A hands-on leadership style with the confidence to challenge and improve.
• Experience in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment would be a real advantage, but isn't essential.
• Available to start ASAP or on a notice period of no more than one month.
Why Join?
This is a brilliant opportunity to work directly with an experienced CFO in a growing international business. You'll have genuine autonomy, broad exposure and the chance to shape the finance function as the business continues its next phase of growth.
