Financial Accountant International Global Professional Services Firm London (Hybrid – 2 days in office) £55k to £60k per annum + benefits I’m currently partnering with a global professional services business looking to appoint a technically strong Financial Accountant to take ownership of finance operations across multiple international offices. This role offers exceptional variety, cross‑cultural exposure and the opportunity to influence financial processes across several jurisdictions. Key responsibilities: • Assist finance business partners with monthly management accounts for international offices under US GAAP • Liaise with overseas accounting providers to manage journals, reporting and balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare forecasts for smaller international entities and support annual budgeting • Oversee international bank accounts, ensuring appropriate funding and reconciliations • Support AP and AR processes, including staff expenses, credit cards and billing • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all direct and indirect tax filings • Coordinate preparation and filing of overseas statutory accounts • Maintain oversight of lease agreements, transfer pricing and intercompany documentation • Work with HR on Employer of Record arrangements and local compliance • Act as the primary contact for local tax advisers and support audits • Ensure adherence to financial policies and SOX controls • Manage Oracle ledgers and month‑end close for overseas offices • Provide line management, guidance and oversight to a junior team member based overseas About You: • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) • At least 1 year post qualified (desirable but not essential) • Experience working with international entities or multi‑jurisdiction environments • Strong technical accounting skills across US GAAP / UK GAAP / IFRS • High attention to detail with strong critical thinking and self‑review capability • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc.) • Confident communicator with excellent cross‑cultural communication skills • Able to influence stakeholders and deliver through others • Experience in large, complex organisations or practice is desirable • Willing to take on line management responsibilities in the future Location: This role is based in London with flexible hybrid working (2 days per week in the office).
