As a team member for the Partners Platform, you will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of Business and Engineering on the PlayStation SDK Windows Delivery tooling.You'll be responsible for helping to develop SDK Manager Windows Application, co-ordinating with business and engineering to help improve the relationship between SIE and our Game development and publishing Partners..Role overview:We are seeking a skilled C# Software Engineer to design and develop Windows-based applications that support the delivery and integration of SDK components for Sony PlayStation platforms. This role requires strong experience in C#, along with solid knowledge of C and C++ for low-level integration and performance-critical components.What you'll be doing:Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications using C# and the .NET frameworkBuild tools and interfaces to support integration and delivery of PlayStation SDK componentsWork with native code (C/C++) to interface with low-level systems and SDK librariesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including platform engineers and SDK developersDebug, optimize, and improve performance across managed and unmanaged codeCreate and maintain technical documentation for internal tools and SDK workflowsEnsure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practicesSupport build systems, packaging, and deployment of SDK-related deliverablesWhat we're looking for:Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (e.g., WinForms, WPF, or similar)Solid experience with C and C++ (memory management, pointers, native integration)Experience developing Windows desktop applicationsFamiliarity with interop techniques (P/Invoke, C++/CLI, or similar)Understanding of software architecture and design patternsExperience with debugging tools for both managed and native codeKnowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesirable Skills:Experience working with SDKs or developer toolchainsFamiliarity with console development environments, especially Sony PlayStation platformsKnowledge of build systems (e.g., CMake, MSBuild)Experience with performance profiling and optimizationUnderstanding of security and compliance requirements in SDK distributionProcess Optimization: Continuously refine and improve program management processes to enhance efficiency and team productivity.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Game IndustryFamiliarity with game development, cloud platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is a plusBenefits:Discretionary bonus opportunityHybrid Working (within Flexmodes)Private Medical InsuranceDental Scheme25 days holiday per yearOn Site GymSubsidised CaféFree soft drinksOn site barAccess to cycle garage and showersPlease note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks.Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your data protection rights.Equal Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
