Head Chef - Law Firm Working Pattern: 5/7, predominantly Monday - Friday, some flexibility is a required based on business needs including earlies, lates and on weekends Lexington is an award-winning contract caterer that focus on providing great food and service to customers. As a Head Chef you will be proactively managing and supporting a catering team as well as creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence. • Recruiting, training, supporting and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to our customer and client • Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget • Ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues • You will be responsible for smooth running of onsite cafe/ restaurant as well as overall hospitality and 13 meeting rooms As a Head Chef you will: • Have proven experience of successfully managing a team • Proven leadership ability with a proactive, hands-on approach • Legal /Law Firm background is highly desirable • Genuine interest in customer service excellence • Focused on the front line • 2+ years experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef ready for their next step • Proven experience in new site mobilisation within contract catering • A strong team player, highly confident and positive • Have hospitality and events management experience • Minimum 2+ years experience in fine dining, VIP dining and corporate dining Brilliant Work Deserves Brilliant Perks!
