You’ll support the preparation of management accounts, assist with stock and inventory accounting, and contribute to accurate financial reporting and compliance. You’ll also work closely with operational teams to provide insight and help improve processes. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting • Assist with monthly management accounts (including multi-currency reporting) • Analyse product margin reports and investigate variances • Support stock and inventory reporting • Maintain financial ledgers for subsidiary companies • Assist with year-end, audit, and regulatory reporting Stock & Inventory • Reconcile stock to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies • Prepare and distribute stock ageing reports • Support stock counts and audits • Provide finance support to operational teams on stock-related queries Tax & Compliance • Assist with VAT returns and wider tax compliance • Support customs and duty processes • Help prepare information for audits and regulatory submissions Systems & Process Improvement • Support ERP systems (Intact IQ / Business Central), particularly stock modules • Contribute to improving finance processes and reporting accuracy General Finance Support • Assist with reconciliations, journals, and month-end tasks • Provide ad hoc financial analysis • Build strong working relationships across the business About You • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role • Exposure to stock or inventory accounting (desirable) • Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) or working towards qualification (desirable) • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Confident working with financial systems and Excel • Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload
